Here's some pics of my Monday since we got it off from school, Miss K stayed out at the ranch this weekend, we went to a nice prime rib dinner Sunday then she helped me weigh, vacc and tag baby calves!

61914 Number 34, only 200 left to calve now! Then that evening, we took our Border Collie, Sammi, out for a run and went sledding, she loves to run with the 4 wheeler or ride on it with me, and raced us down the hill each time we made a run. Man I feel blessed to have the dog and woman i do, they are both smarter than i am!

It's a tricky time of year for weather and calving in Montana - Hope you don't loose to many. All the Best.

Cows calving in the winter time makes for hardy stock, dad use to say. Mom on the other hand, would be 'irritated' at that statement, every year. She never helped with chores at winter time. We had a good barn but only used it for baled hay. Go figure, guess it was the old way.

Thank you for the pictures Cowboy.

Kinda looks like around here, except all the white stuff. The missus hit me up last night "you think we can go to the cabin and do some hunting this weekend?" God loves a good redneck woman.
Congrats to you and yours.

Keep a gun handy for coyotes.
They like those new born calves.

Thanks for the comments guys! I am going to try and get some of Miss K's photos she took with her camera and post them up too!

We always keep plenty of guns around, Andrew whacked a big coyote two days ago, i also keep my .243 BLR with the Raptor night vision scope on it to thin out the yotes!
