Interesting, I always liked Paul and "The Rest of The Story" was for several years my favorite part of driving home from work. Most of these were fairly factual but a lot of them were urban legends, especially in the later years, so I have to wonder how well he checked them out.

That Paul Harvey speaks freely of God must have really twisted a knot in Demo-libs panties during the Super Bowl commercial. I still fondly remember when me and several classmates used to sit out in the community college parking lot at lunch hour and listen to Paul give the daily news. I still consider Mr. Harvey the most honest and revered man in journalism.

If you like OLD TIME RADIO go here

http://www.museum.tv/collectionssection.php?page=16

Bruce Dumont has just about ANY of the old programs on tape and several hours of recordings of Paul Harvey, Fibber,Lone Ranger etc cost around $9.95 and worth every penny.

If you are ever in Chicago on a weekend The museum should definitely be a stop you want to make.
