Ingredients by volume or weight??

I am mixing up some lube with the folowing formula and was wondering if it uses volume or weight?
8 oz. Beeswax
4 oz. Safflower Oil
2 oz. Hoppe's Elite Gun Oil

Steve you should be able to use either weight or volume pick one and stay with it that way your ingredients should be at the same percentages.
I usually use volume myself.

Alloys are built by weight. 60/40 solder is 60%tin by weight. ETC.
