Remove the gun from the State? How two faced can you be! If it's bad give it to your neighbors?

Where will they house all those new criminals? This aught to be interesting.

They won't they will confiscate the gun, put the new CRIMINAL on probation with a felony on their record and prohibit them from owing ANY guns and this will scare a good share of honest folks into complying. Look at NY's new law and stop and think where you are going to get a 7 round magazine for your Luger? NY has basicly banned the ownership of 95% of semi automatic hand guns. I shudder to think that his can happen here in the midwest too.

Pulled this from the comments of that article. Pretty good

The First Amendment is there you see,
We can say when and what we please.
And the Second one is there,
To keep us all free.

Some want to take our rights away,
But it won’t happen on this day.
They will continue to try in another way,
Freedom will be a gun shot away.

They wish to take our guns from us,
And they are trying to make a fuss.
This old vet say’s no they can’t,
I took an oath and went to Nam.

Many have died to keep us free,
I will too, if need be.
In seventy one I passed the test,
And served with Americas best.

Fingerprinted and photo,
For owning a gun.
I don’t think so
You communist son.

MOLON LABE is the battle cry,
Gun from my hand you will have to pry.
The oath I took on another day,
Is still in force and you will pay!

A brave man I will never be,
Until you take my rights from me.
Liberal socialists I despise,
It’s hard to wait for their demise !!!!!

This is my neck of the woods - I just cannot fathom my own state jumping on board this asinine gun control love fest. I'm livid - but then again - I know I am not alone. I continue to wonder in sheer amazement how we keep giving in, one piece at a time and never stand up and fight back - hell our forefathers would have been shooting by now - no doubt in my mind

Where will they house all those new criminals? This aught to be interesting.

If there's one interesting lesson to learn from the Dorner debacle in Kalifagnia, it's how absolutely crazy law enforcement can get with ONE guy to chase. Anyone want to think about a state where several THOUSAND people refuse to bow to 'law'?

The only way that confiscation will work is if people voluntarily give up their guns. If people don't then several scenarios play out.

First, if you don't turn your stuff in, you're a felony waiting to be chosen and harvested. All it takes is getting crosswise with the law and they get to tag on a firearms charge on top of your original charge.

Second, expect that some bozo in the state capitol will get the idea that hitting a couple of high-profile targets for confiscation will encourage obedience. This is really bad if you happen to be the 'example' they choose. It may indeed encourage some more compliance, but at the same time, a lot of law enforcement will then be like the LAPD and their lesser minions, never knowing if the traffic stop is going to erupt in their faces and if the burglary call is a set-up for an ambush.

Third, you're really going to have to know who your friends are. Your shooting buddies know that YOU have guns and didn't turn them in. One of them gets tagged and is told in explicit terms that HE will go free if he rats others out.

There are other possibilities.

But right now, I don't see a legislature in Missouri buying into this. Let's face it, having their 'law' rejected in court would be the least of their worries.

The esteemed idiots in power here in Colorado are on the verge of similar, it seems ... not to the point of admitting they want confiscation, but "if it walks like a duck..."

Will the legislature pass such foolishness. The option to take out of state is to avoid paying for guns or magazines.
The good citizens of Mo ssould trying to recall the idiots who introduced this legislation. Watch them back pedal and say it is only to start a discussion.

Get used to it gentle men, this is called feelers. They run trial runs of this garbage not only to test the waters but to start getting the sheeple to think about and start the desensitize the sheeple. You can only have freedom with morality and the bulk of america does not want the moral culture that it takes to maintain a free society and so now comes the oppressors. nekshot

Be sure to email and call your legislatures. It does make a difference. If you have some that are pro 2nd Amendment be sure to call and thank them. Imagine all the baloney they are putting up with right now. A little encouragement goes a long ways.

Think it's time everyone wrote their own manifesto......very first words should be ,I am a law abiding citizen whose tired of paying the price of the few who make me, the gun owner look like a criminal.
I am tired of losing my freedoms due to the reckless behavior of a few.
I do not cause problems with my neighbors or persons unknown due to me being a gun owner.
I do not commit criminal acts because I am a gun owner.
I am tired of losing my rights and freedoms under the 2A due to a few who commit heinous crimes.
I am tired of being labeled something I am not, due to a few who commit crimes.
I am tired of feeling like I cannot protect my life, my property and my family, because of a few who commit heinous crimes, then the government thinks it's proper to punish the law abiding for the acts of a few.
I am tired of a government who fears me, when in all facts, I the gunowner would take up arms to protect this country at all costs, even with my life.
I am just tired, tired of being labeled something I'm not, tired of being punished for the crimes of a few, tired of being prohibited of my choices of life, liberty and the pursuit of "MY" happiness.
I am tired.
This government thinks taking my guns and my freedoms and happiness away will make a chosen few safe, then come get them.
I've got nothing else to lose.

I doubt it will pass in Missouri.....but then again....maybe it should. Some things I think will pass at the Federal level and some states are going crazy. We've pretty much ignored what has happened to the citizens of California and New York. Maybe it would be better if more states went that way because I believe this is going to come to a head sooner or later and the shooting will start and sooner may be better than later.

A snowball in hell has more of a chance than that bill passing here in Missouri. This is the same house and senate that gave us concealed carry and the ability to buy silencers. Both houses are Republican controlled. This Dem fool just put something up that would get his name in the paper. I would like to see his picture in the paper with Indicted in the cut line. If we could get rid of St. Louis and Kansas City this would be a perfect state.

Its not the Democrats who we already know to be against firearms being carried by law-abiding citizens, but its also RINOs that at the last minute will sell out those same citizens to gain a momentary political advantage. Remember, that is how we lost on Obamacare with the Nebraska Republican Senator who voted with the Democrats as long as his state was exempted...

As a fellow show me stater - I'm right there with you. Of course - its like this all across the country - these blue zones should be walled off and left to fend for themselves.

Taken from Mad Ogre site - the map on left is not quite right - never stopped a liberal to use unfacts (their word) but the point is clear and further maps and info is available http://madogre.com/?p=4102

It will be hard to get the truth out. A complicit press, the reinstating of the Fairness Doctrine, and control of the internet will be a small part of what they will use to brainwash the American people into justifying going after us. America was stupid and blind enough to put Obama in office twice. I am not very optimisitic.

This is how it started in Australia. If you let this one pass other states will follow, I hope it gets the support it deserves and is thrown out.

I hope your right. But I would not be sitting back and banking on it. You guys need to be contacting your reps and raising hell that this bill should be killed. I am not from Missouri, and they may not put much value since I am not one of their constituents, but I will be sending some of your Reps an email asking them not to support it. I think we all should be proactive on our support of the 2nd Amendment. I have made coutless phone calls to my states representatives, and have sent about 30 emails to several senators of other states asking them to support and uphold the 2nd Amendment, and to vote against any type weapons ban. May not do any good, but I would rather try than not do anything.

Guys,

I this bill is going no where. The two idiots who put it forward are just that, "Idiots". It will not even make it to the Mo Senate Floor, much less through the house. I think the two that sponsored it are the only two Democraps in the Senate, and they are just trying to get some press time.

On the other hand there is another bill that is on its way to the house, and the Governor is expected to sign, and if he doesn't his Veto will be over ridden. It is the MO Firearms Owners Protection Act. It is almost an exact copy of the one in WY. These two Democraps were trying to draw attention away from a bill that is very heavily supported by the citizens and LE of the state, in hopes of bogging down the legislative process with their Democrap nonsense.

I am very close to both my Senator and Representative, and am in contact with both on at least a weekly basis, mostly because we are close acquaintances and have known each other for a long time. If there was any concern over this bill making out of committee, Brian and Dave both would have let me know. They did inform me when it was introduced, but told me it was a non-starter and was DOA. Bottom line, Don't sweat the idiotic stuff, unless your Government is run by idiots.

Best wishes,

Joe

Yes She was put back in office, but she is more conservative and more intelligent than the Moron the republicans put up, Todd Akin. This guy couldn't keep his mouth shut. He made Joe Bidden look like a master orator, with the intellect of Albert Einstein, yes, Akin was that bad. The worst part about it was that he was not vetted like he should have been. The Tea Party ran him as the champion of conservative values and got him through the primaries. When the primaries were over and he had to start opening his mouth he kept shooting himself in the foot. After the primaries he was so far ahead of McCaskil it wasn't funny. The media was heart broken because their golden girl was gone, so they started putting Akin in front of the camera and he kept hanging himself.

Best wishes,

Joe
