Got to go look at a gun collection for sale

A couple that I knew, both passed away now had a large collection of guns. A buddy of mine was put in charge of selling off all of the guns and ammo. He wants me to come by and look at it before he tries to start selling any of it so I'll be heading back home to Louisiana this weekend.
He said there were about 50 handguns alone not including all of the long guns and piles of ammo.
I may have to float a loan.

I have a personal invite to view the guns then after that, I don't know how they will proceed. I know the family is wanting to get market price which is understandable. My buddy is doing a lot of research. If it were me, I'd have an auction. They would likely get over market prices for a number of the firearms in an well publicized auction.
If they do want to piece it out, I’ll try to get some info on likely pieces and post them.
