I can't remember when last I cast. Has to be 6 months. With one thing and another I have not really had to do any due to having enough 'stock' on hand but also a lot less shooting. Anyways, this evening I got the girls to bed and had the pot and two moulds prewarmed. My new 20lber has yet to arrive so I cast with my old 10lber. I usually run the 20lb pot of the ladle and the 10lb for the sprues and topping the 20 off. I cast using 40-1 lead-tin alloy and love using it. Lovely shiney boolits and cutting the sprue with the palm of my hand. Boolits were CBE 325 125 for the .310 Cadet and Lyman 39838 for paper patching and feeding to my .40cal caplock rifle.

I must have cast 200 of each so not a bad start. Once into the rhythm I was cycling the moulds very quickly. Here's the boolits:

Nothing more satisfying than a good casting session before turning in. Nice boolits, Jeff.
