New style Lee with some weird pointy things on the bottom. Hmm, wonder what they do.

Here's the finished product ready to rock.

Erik at hollowpointmold.com made this one and I have to say I couldn't be happier! It's very easy to use and the bullets drop right off the pins. They don't even require a tap.

The mould heated up quickly like all Lee's do and kept operating flawlessly till I was done. I will be buying more of these! :-D

It was $99 with an extra $10 I think for shipping. It's not cheap but a very good value.

It was a Lee 358-158-RF. They drop around 150 grains. I just loaded some up in .38 special cases with 5.8 grains of Power Pistol. So far that powder gave me the best velocity in previous tests.

Looks like the 358-158-RF. How much does it weigh with the HP?

Sweet......Lee is going to another level with their two cavity molds. Hopefully the finish on the new 2 cavity molds is better than the older versions.

Very, very nice! I really like the LEE 158 RNFP and with that addition, it should make a very good boolit! Traveling at 1400+ fps, I doubt anyone could tell the color of that lube. It kind of looks like my BAC. Congratulations on the mold.

Did you buy the mold directly from HP molds or did you send yours in?

i think it's more violet than pink.
i have a few purple lubes,some green,red,brown,tan,and even black.
i even got white once.
iv'e never managed a pink,or violet color though.

I bought it from them because I can't really find many places that have them in stock and then I don't know what they will send me, new or old style.

This way I knew I was getting new style.

The lube was supposed to be this cool orange color, but it was too light. I added some red to darken it but then it just turned out pink. Oh well, it was my first batch. It was about 2lbs of lube to start with. Might take me 10 years to use it all. Then I may try another color.
