I figured I would post a couple of pics of two new rifles I just got today. Everyone I know just looks at me strange when I come up with these types of guns and I figure you guys would understand.

A Savage 23b (I did'nt know these existed until last week:shock:) that someone got a little bit artistic with.

A Savage 219b in 30-30. These I knew existed and always lusted after. I have been waiting 4 years hoping one would come along in 22 Hornet, but I think I will be happy with 30-30, for now.[smilie=1:

Both were completely filthy when I picked them up but a lot of elbow grease and cleaner show both to have excellent metal/blueing. The bore on the 219 appears to be pristine. [smilie=w:
and the 23b looks very good as well.

This is the most interesting part of the 23b:

When I first saw this it took a second or two to make the connection.

Thanks for allowing me to show off

That is the great thing about guns. No matter what kind they are someone will be a fan of them. Those are interesting guns. I have an old Hamilton cat rifle with a flat stock and it is basically worthless as a shooter but I still like it because my grandfather gave it to me.
