I found I need a VERY tight hold on the gun and a firm sandbag under the butt. I had one called shot where the bag broke down and the barrel came up higher. Looking through the spotting scope confirmed my call as high left with the torque I got. The only limit to the accuracy of the BFR's is the hold on the grip. I wish I was perfect but you guys know how revolvers are.
I am now happy that the boolit is not to blame---it was just ME!
This was at 50 yd's.

What velocity are you pushing this bullet?

It is close to 1700. My other boolit was clocked at 1633 with less powder. I haven't run this one over the chrono though because it is a pain to get everything down to my bench. Downhill but then up hill coming out. I hate to make two trips! I can guess at around 1675 or 80 though.
I was letting the gun kind of free recoil before and noticed it would rise and torque different for each shot.

I notice that some guns and boolits shoot better held loose but some need a tight hold, just another thing to drive us all NUTS!

Bass, you can't make it out of my valley without stopping three times for breath. Arm loads of junk are OUT! Have pity on us old timers.
