Things just kinda stink right now aound the ranch, morale is pretty low. As some of you already know, Miss K's grandpa passed away last week, he was a great man and a good friend to us. Now dealing with the fact that he is actually gone plus having to deal with the resulting influx of people none of us can stand, who were nowhere to be found all this time before, seem to all want to be there at once for all the wrong reasons. I sure hope people don't fight like this after i'm gone! Anyways, have to have his memorial on thursday, which will be tough.

Also, my brother Andrew's girlfriend's brother that is the same age and friends with Andrew is now in the ICU after being flown in, so we have been trying to help his family who are friends and fellow cattle breeders.
He was on a gravel road in his car when he slid on ice into the opposite lane, where a 1ton dually Dodge with a loaded stock trailer literally drove over the top of his car. The pictures make me honestly sick to my stomach, he is very lucky to be alive. It has been hard on everybody, as we are all still trying to keep going to school and do well, but the last week has just been tough to make anything but family top priority.
Please drive slow and remember to buckle up guys, it really and truely does save lives.
If you could have a thought or prayer for us it would be great, it is hard for me to ask because i don't have a church or anything close by to turn to right now, and your guys are my only social network. Thank you.

Thanks guys, you are better than any Facebook friends would be! Gotta survive the services thursday with the crazy mother and abusive husband that both would love to see me wiped off the face of the map, then things should get back to normal, people will go home and it will just be me K and gramma again. Seems like Latham is coming out of his coma state, starting to talk a little but the doctors say he won't be himself for quite awhile!
God and i have had plenty of time to talk, if He helps me get through this week ok i think we may be elk hunting this weekend which will help clear my head a bit!
