Hey guys,

Thought I'd share an idea/see if anyone knows more about this than I do or is currently using something of the like...

A few years back I had a gig over at an indoor go-kart racing track. About the same time that i was hired on, the owner manager was building a tank for these cleaning microbes to live in...He rigged up a heating element to keep the fluid in the tank at somewhere around 90-100 degrees ( I forget EXACTLY how warm.), and the little guys would feast on whatever dirt and oil was given to them- When we plopped in go-kart parts, they munched away, and we got remarkably clean parts., in and out.

I forget the name of the microbes, or the product name they are sold under, but man they worked great. Anyone use this for cleaning gun parts, or anyone heard of this?

Thought someone might find great interest in using this type of thing for cleaning their stuff if they havn't heard of it.

Let's hope the little buggers don't get into your crankcase and multiply.:kidding:
