I've heard nothing about this one. Is it because it doesn't fit the agenda being pushed? What the NRA proposes worked.

That couldn't have happened, it's a Gun Free Zone. Makes no sense.

Well actually since felons tend to ignore the gun free zone and just break the law by carrying a gun anyway whats needed is to make it illegal to break the law, right?

I heard about that shooting but not about a armed off duty LEO stopping it.
Someone is saying that the armed guard didn't prevent the shooting from happening.
Someone was still able to get shot with a armed guard present...... I know its BS.
Bottom line is that the shooter was stopped after he opened fire.
There is no way to stop someone intent on harming another when you don't know until they open fire.

I have a PRIME example.
President Reagan and three others were shot and wounded by John Hinckley, Jr.
President Reagan was guarded by Secret Service and dozens of Policemen.
You can not protect against someone trying to harm you. You can only limit the amount of damage they do.

Here is a useless fact...... The gun used to shoot the President was given to the ATF the day after the shooting to trace its origin. In just sixteen minutes agents found that the gun had been purchased at Rocky's Pawn Shop in Dallas, Texas
So someone explain to me why it takes them so long to tell us what weapons were used in the Connecticut shooting and where they were purchased from.

Piers(pea brain) Morgan probably wet himself when he heard about the armed guard stopping the shooter. I'd like to make the brit wet himself when he felt my size 12 round toe cowboy boot up his backside. CR

Circuit rider, I wouldn't do that.
1. Your boots would get dirty
2. You might have to go to the hospital with him to get the boot extracted from said backside.
3. And he might like it stuck up his backside.
4. Besides it might inconvience the Gerbils that have taken residence in said backside.

"So someone explain to me why it takes them so long to tell us what weapons were used in the Connecticut shooting and where they were purchased from."

That additional time was needed to figure out just the right wording for the crooked-spin they intended to put on the whole story.

Piers Brain Dead Morgan didn't comment that the armed guard was off duty, but managed to get the shooting stopped quickly anyway.

I heard it was a girl who was shot in the neck, not a boy. But that was the day it happened. It's amazing how this story was hushed, and not days on end on the news, but thats because noone was killed and an armed guard did prevent a death or more deaths.

The entire story is a farce, it never even happened.

We all know that all criminals (especially gang bangers) and all nut jobs strictly obey all gun laws and in particular gun free zones. Therefore the incident never happened.

A "gun free zone" makes about as much sense as the old "screen door on a submarine" saying, does any sane person actually think that a person who was intending to do a crime (let alone commit a murder!) would just give up and decide not to just because it's illegal to have a gun in the area? This is nuts! I can just see Bubba trying to explain to his get-away-driver why he didn't rob the bank, well there was a sign on the door clearly saying that guns are not allowed. :veryconfu

We had this story on our news but it didn't say that there was an armed guard. They said that a teacher had stopped it. Strange that they got that part left out.

It's sad what gets air time and what doesn't. Glad to see it was stopped before it could have potentially been worse.

I know this is unnecessary, but the humor of this is so dense I couldn't restrain myself. Yeah an armed robber obeys the no gun zone whilst enroute to an armed robbery wherein he already has committed a felony by having a gun as a convicted felon, and may well have to kill someone or several folks in the commission of a further felony. As someone said elsewhere, we can solve all of this lawbreaking by passing a further law making it illegal to break a law. Maybe outlaw mental disease, and stupidity while we're at it.

leftiye, you need to have another glass of cool aid to get your "mind right".

But that aint true either....by the accounts of the Cook County Sheriff, the criminal is more scared of federal gun laws than they are any state gun laws.

I seen him give that statement on the news, during an interview, so it has to be true....considering last weekend there was 50 murders in the city. Without them federal laws out there, there might of been 51 murders instead.

Bill O'rielly shut down a republican woman who said we need to enforce the laws we have on the books, not make new ones. He said there are no federal laws affecting gun use in crimes. Wouldn't even let her respond. The surprise on her face was evident. The man is an idiot on so many fronts.

I can't watch oriely, he is at best middle of the road and that's giving him credit. Then consider that the middle of the road is for those that can't make up their minds between freedom and socialism. Ole bill is billed as the most popular on cable, I strongly doubt that, more likely nothing but hype from Fox to get people to watch. The only real thing he gets right is Laura Ingraham filling in for him, problem there is that he doesn't take nearly enough time off.
