New 30-30 blocks

My first came out with a nose too large to chamber so I stripped it and fit new blocks with the plate. I cut a new cherry and will set it up tomorrow to cut. I changed it a little and hope it works out.
I made size dies for just the nose and it is not working out so it is best to start over.

The nose is .302" and many 30-30's might take it fine. The body is .311".

yessir there should be several 30-30's that should like it.
several old military 0-6 rifles out there that would do fine with it too.

I allowed .002" for shrinkage and it was too much for a small boolit. I cut the new cherry to exact size to see what happens.
My friend is supposed to bring his rifle to see if the old ones fit. If they do I will just make a new sprue plate. They are the worst to make.

The original sounds about perfect for most of my .30 cal rifles! If you go into production...just let us know.

Seriously tho, great work there 44 man. I would be proud to add that fine looking mold to my collection anyday.
