I always try and do a search before I ask a question and with the old format it worked really well. With this new format all I get is the current page. What am I doing wrong? I freely admit I am technologically challenged when it comes to computers but I didn't have any problems with the old system.

I was searching 30 mauser the other day and got anything with mauser in it. If if I put it in quotes "30 mauser" it seems to work better.

What exactly were you searching for? Give me as much info as you can so I can see what happened..

It has happened to me on several occasions. One example was looking for 30 carbine loads in the Cast in Military Rifles forum. When I hit search I got basically the same page with some rearrangement.
I didn't try what John suggested. It seems like it took the words individually and pulled them up when I tried it a few minutes ago looking for the same thing. It just seemed to me that the old format worked better. I'm not too old to change if there is a better way of doing it.

If I type "30 carbine loads" I get 33 results. If I type 30 carbine loads, i get over 2,000 results.. Try doing it with "quotes".
