Moulds too. Another that has me shaking my head are the presses. Keeping my fingers crossed that C&H I have my eye on falls by the wayside in favor of the popular searches for the well known colors or names.

I think somebody put the decimal in the wrong place and didn't hit the REVIEW BID button

I don't think so, a 225415, GC's, top punch and die wen't for $229.00 and some change. Same mould from another seller just the blocks, almost $125.00. Missed decimal on three diffren't sellers? Possible, but unlikely IMHO.

Just like with the magazines, folks lookin' to turn a $ on the hysteria, real or imagined.

I was looking for shell plates for my Hornady LNL saw a #16 (.223) sell on Fleabay for $152.50! I had gotten one from my LGS for $40 the night before!! He had another one on the shelf I should have bought that one and sold it!!

I looked at ebay the other day at molds. I thought they had flipped out.
Maybe I should sell a few molds I probly wont use anymore.

20 bids to get it up that high. Not a decimal point error.

Someone has more money than sense! You can still find dies, etc. at the LGS! But I never thought I would see .223 brass sell for $120 per thousand and MORE, on here either. I dont know whether to be sad or scared. (maybe both?)

I've been seeing those prices for 223 dies since Newtown Massacre. Other die and die sets are keeping up a few dollars. Most of the stuff related to reloading has gone up on eBay.

Decimal point errors DO NOT result in erroneous bids unless another bidder intentionally runs up the amount! Fellas when you bid on E-Bay it does not matter how much you bid since the amount will only jump by a small margin, depending on the amount the bid is already, so any error would not be reflected! For instance if an item bid is standing at $10.00 a person could accidentally bid $11,000 and the bid amount would only jump to $10.50 unless the previous bid was above that, the amount will only increase in these small margins above the maximum amount the last bidder placed. Lot's of "stories" out there about people accidentally having to pay huge amounts for really inexpensive items because of decimal errors but E-Bay just does NOT work that way!

For the last year I have been thinking of unloading alot of junk (stuff at my age I will not use), the time might be approaching. Sure would have my wifes blessing.

All this time I have been claiming I'm investing. I guess I was.

I just sold an old T/C mold set for .490 roundball & the Maxi Hunter conical on ebay, they went up to 120.50 at auction end. I about had a stroke when I saw it! Only paid 23.00 for them a few yrs ago.

I just sold a muzzle loader kit on there. I had it on 7 different web sites and no one wanted it. I listed it there by the stock alone and the barrel alone. EBAY considers a kit as an actual firearm. Found out that one the hard way. They pulled the original add I had with it complete. I listed it $200 higher than it was originally listed at, and someone hit the "buy it now" on both of them. $640 for the whole kit.

I've recently seen used Lee double cavity molds go for $40+. It's ridiculous, especially since I have the feeling that most of these people will never reload, and will sell all the stuff they paid way too much for, as soon as the ammunition supply/demand curve stabilizes and they can go buy as much ammo as they want at Walmart

I listed a MK3 BHP in Dec. on another site for $625 OBO for about 2 weeks. No bites. I just mentioned it to another member on the board and told him $700 firm and he asked when could he come get it. He was gonna drive almost 2 hours for it too. This is getting silly.

That's what I once thought also until a couple of years ago when I had a bunch of old text books tied up to take to the trash dumpster but my wife insisted I list them on E-Bay before throwing them away, those things fetched over $128 and the feed-back was excellent from the buyers!

I am not saying E-Bay is a place to dump junk, there's way too much of that going on there now, but good usable items that we may not need might be just what someone else is looking for so it's usually worth a try. Reloading supplies that are not used anymore such as odd caliber dies or tools usually sell fast and bring a good price, I have yet to list a tool of any kind that did not bring more than I would have taken for it if someone had of offered.

The big 3 shell plates dollar wise on there are #8 (9MM), #16 (.223) and #45 (45ACP). With the #16 bringing in the biggest money!!
