Once he got used to the 12 ga. he did pretty well, hitting 40% of high flyers. Went to the pistol range to shoot 40SW. He did good on that too. Kept everything on paper @7 yds, most in the 7s after a couple mags full. He's never shot before. He wants to go again, was asking about gun pricing and ammo costs. Another sucker. Talked to a guy shooting a TSMG 45 acp replica. At first I thought it was an airgun or 22. No recoil, smoke or noise. I tossed him a .500 case and asked if they had one in that cal. He laughed.

I'm sure there is a .22 out there with his name on it. ;-)

He's been talking about a pistol for HD a while, think he is interested in 12 ga also. Funny part is that his wife always said she couldn't shoot someone, now says she wants a GUN. People are strange.

In my book that's a GOOD kind of strange! ;-)

A good kind of strange, and a good kind of change. Congrats on gaining a new shooting buddy.
