Looking at using this boolitt( Lyman 358315 ) for my TC 14" Barrel 357 Herrett. This is a 204 gr RN rifle boolit Anybody care to share any load info on this ? If i cannot find info from here , my older Hornady and Spear manuals list a 200 grain "J" bullet for the 14" Contender. Can I use that info to calculate what I can use as a starting load with a pb boolit and how to you calculate that info ? Thanks in advance.

Thats what I do for a like cast load. Just check your sizing as a .360 cast in my 357H causes pressure build up, but my bore is tight. I shot 200 and 225g Sierra in my 10" 357H and went back to 180s. My 225g Sierras in a 250y berm were almost reloadable while my 180s hit around 10" higher and mush up really well still.

Is it possible to convert the loads from jacketed to cast somehow. I remember some time ago folks were using a percentage of a jacketed load for starting loads on like weights in cast. Anyone done this or is someplace I should not be going ?

I would far prefer the RCBS 200 fn for a better supported nose.
