I have thought on this for awile, and I really wish lee would cut their 6 cavity mold block in half, and make a 2-3 robust quality mold, that would be a butt kicker, it would fit the 6 cavity handles, it wouldnt be so hard to get to running temp. for leetle boolits.
I would think you could use the hold down like the 6 cavity but some re-design might be needed to gain more leverage for the sprue cutter.
They might even sell a TON of just bare mold blocks ready to cherry.
I know Lyman reads this board, maybe Lee does too,
This setup would be real nice for BPCR rifle types of bullets too.
of course it would cost a bit more than the 2 cavity made with the extruded shape.....but if midway could sell them for say 20 bucks.
