long time lurker here, about to start casting.

It is almost impossable to find WW to cast from where i live but i did just stumble upon a junk sailboat with 1800 lbs of lead that i am going to attempt to harvest. just wanted to say hi and im sure the questions will start rolling in from me soon

Welcome, the guys here are the best. A few months back someone posted about harvesting lead from a sailboat, with a chainsaw. If I remember correctly there is even a video. I cast for 9mm and 44mag, if I can help just let me know.

Thanks for the welcome! Looks like sailboat deal is going to work. In fact the only reason i started looking for keels was because of that video.

I plan to cast 9,40,45, and 380.

Welcome to the madness! I cast for the 45 and the 9mmMak, similar to the 380 but takes a .366 boolit. Questions are welcome. Have fun with the keel.

well, the first sail boat deal went south, and i am now the owner of a 2700lb keel, that comes with a boat. I plan to go up to the marina friday and see what i can do about getting the beast home. Anyone need a 40' mast? :)
