I'm going to order the Lee 90 gr. SWC TL 32 mold for my 32 long H&R project. With my throats being .315 and barrel .312 I have some questions.

What do you think my chances are of it casting a boolit big enough to fit the throats?

Using LLA and at 800 fps what chance do I have of it not leading being swaged down in the .312 barrel?:castmine:

i'd think it will pour in the 313 range.
not to fear,it's worth a try.
i have ignored cylinder throats for years unless they were too small.

My 6 cavity mould drops them at .313 - .314 if cast of range lead or COWWs. With 2% tin added to either they drop .314 - .315. I lube them with straight LLA as per the instructions and then run base first through a .314 sizer. I've shot thousands of them out of several .32 S&WLs, S&W 32 H&Rs, my Ruger SS (original run) 32 H&R and a Contender 32 H&R. I get zilch leading even with the fast twist and .308 groove depth Contender 10" barrel. They should shoot very well in your H&R at .314. I'd suggest a 40-1 lead-tin alloy which should cast out fine also. As with runfiverun I also don't pay that much attention to cylinder throats unless they are too small. I doubt you'll be able to tell the accuracy difference, if any, between a .314 or .315 sized bullet in an H&R revolver.........

I also shoot gobs of the TL314-90-SWCs out of my .30/.31 cal rilfes. With case capacity up to 300 Savage I use 2.7 gr Bullseye and with .308W up to '06 capacity I use 3.2 gr. I run the .314 lubed/sized bullets through a .311 sizer for the .30 cals. Accuracy is excellent, recoil non-exhistant.

Beagle it if you need more that it casts at.
