I found a local deal (at least I think it is a deal) on a brand new in the box lee pro IV for $50 tax and all. this makes the second one I have bought first one I got was for $20 that has be plugged for ladle casting full of a mystery alloy.

I think the lee 10 lb. pot works fairly well for two cavity casting (except for the drips). If your in a hurry (6 cavity) then a bigger pot is needed. With the 10 lb., you cast up 350 or so 158 gr. 357's and take a 15 minute break and then go again. I have two I don't use anymore but they always got the job done for me. Rod

good thing I only play with two cavity molds for the time being.

When I went to 6 cavity mold for my 45-70's I found the 20lb pot's emptied out too quick.
I now use my 10lb pot to pre-melt the lead and pour it into my 20lber to keep the production up.

plugged it in and I love it. few drips here and there mainly when it is first heating up. casted up are 200 boolits in less then an hour just learning how to use it (not counting the break in rejects of the lee 356-125). still going to ladle my boolits for my muzzleloaders. may just end up buying a pot just to do that.
