The bands filled out well but there is daylight around the pins causing flashing. Hopefully as the mold breaks in the flashing will go. This is my first go round with a pinned mold and I'm sure there will be a learning curve:-D These were sized using Lee push through sizer to .510. They are also wearing Gator 50 short rifle gas checks and lubed with 45/45/10. A couple of 510 GNR revolvers and a Marlin lever gun in 50 AK.

I have a 15 inch TC SSK Encore barrel chambered in 50 B & M Alaskan, which is the Alaskan case necked down to 50 to shoot boolits that work in the 500 Smith and Wesson. Currently I'm using 4198 and a 400 Gr. TCGC from a mold made by Mountain Molds. I'm getting about 1800 fps. I tried Trail Boss (not so good), and 4227 (just ok). I tried the 440 gr. SWC from Lee, but it actually comes out at about 460 gr. Not a very good shooter. What do yours weigh? Great looking boolit, BTW.
