View Full Version : Why I Like Cats

One of my cats is getting up in years and occasionally relieves herself in places other than the litter box. This doesn't really endear her to my wife, who is more than a little, uh, retentive about disorder of any type. I've been really stressed and busy at work, and in a real foul mood over all the anti 2A nonsense that's been going on. Didn't sleep very last night, and when the local rag had Ovomit's picture on the front page with a headline about his gun law I just popped. I said that was what happens when a bunch of ********* vote a Marxist into office. My wife said she didn't see anything wrong with that. (I haven't asked, but I'm pretty sure she voted for him.) I just about popped a blood vessel and got up, took a fast shower and went to work with no further conversation.

When I came home in mid afternoon the newspaper was still laying on the kitchen table, front page up. My cat had taken a big dump right on Ovomit's face. That broke my bad mood, and I laughed my butt off. The wife was NOT amused, which just made it funnier.

That's why I like cats.

I agree totally with your mood and political views, your cat needs a special treat of some kind!

I'm afraid I'd divorce my wife if I thought she voted for Zero. I am QUITE certain that she would
divorce ME if she thought I did that!

I'd place copies of king Os face all around the house, to make it easy on the cat. No need for a smart feline, to have, to hunt for a correct place, to take a dump. At least it would make it easier for the wife to clean up after the ageing kitty.
I think I'll hunt for porcelin paint and put a likeness in my john. That would create a real stress releaver.

That's funny, Keith!

My wife took one of ours to the vet today for a checkup and the kitty pooped in the carrier (expected with this one). The Vet disposed of the old, soiled towel from the carrier and re-lined it with the political section from our local rag. It got used again on the way home.

BTW, we gave some obummer toilet paper as gag gifts this Christmas, totally worth the ridiculous price.

Liked your story too.

Where did you get the TP? I'd like to keep a roll around for certain guests...

It was probably coincidence, but the wife and I thought it was hilarious when she cleaned out the carrier this evening.

She found the TP on Amazon dot com, almost waited too late as it was selling like hotcakes after the election, and had gone way up in price. If you can find any in stock, that's the place. It has his smug face printed on every sheet.

Cat might have a potty problem but there's nothing wrong with her head.

Indeed! Thanks for the laugh. As for your wife not seeing anything wrong with obummer's policies, just remind her that Jews had no problem with Hitler, until he started killing them.

One can always cut out a pic of your "target of the moment" from the newspaper and float it in the toilet bowl for your "targeting" pleasure... :takinWiz:

cbrick - what kind of Siamese is that? Had a 20# seal point when I was in school. Smart and never went anyplace but his box. Wife likes dogs so this is my Murphy's replacement. Sydney got an attitude yesterday, she chased the 2 border collies I'm babysitting for around the yard till the collies got tired. 59347 She's not trained yet,11 wks, maybe I can get a BO picture to train her with.

My garage/workshop had a mouse problem, like most outbuildings, and the little buggers would leave their calling cards everywhere even in tool box drawers and on my reloading bench! In the winter with the heat on anything left under a bench or on a shelf would take on the unmistakable odor of mouse pee and they even ate a hole in the headliner of my 65 Mustang! All this was before Jack hired on (I named him Jack Bauer after the character in the series 24 because he's such a tough guy) and now the problem has long since been solved, the few mice that managed to escape would not dare return!

Too bad your cat can't vote. Lots smarter than the dummycrats that vote for a living.
