Hey, I glanced at the "stickies" up at the top and don't think i saw what i was looking for. Is there a "how to" or anyone post a tutorial with pics on how they do their casting? Casting is something that I have become highly interested in and would like to learn more about. I've been floating around and reading more and more this evening, so I may end up finding what I'm looking for.

Thanks for your help.

pretty simple.
melt some lead and pour it into a warmed up mold.
break the sprue plate open and pour out a boolit or six.
repeat untill you run out of lead or get bored. [usually the latter]

Yeah man. Read up through the stickies. Using the search function also helped me a lot when getting started, but it hasn't been working for me since the server changeover.

YouTube also has some moderately helpful stuff. Bring any question here, even those asked before. I am sure there are many to jump in and help out using their new or old experience.

Lots of wisdom and generosity here

Welcome home. Other than a few old, crusty, cranky reprobates (myself included) mostly decent, respectful folk here. Certainly a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of making your own boolits, smelting, casting, rebuilding old collector presses, secret and not-so-secret lube recipes, paper patching, swaging; it's all here. school is in.
