Found this for sale and need to see if its worth buying and what its worth to make an offer.
Has no dies or punches, and needs a bottom plate.

Dont know anything about them, if parts are available or Dies and punches.

Any info would really help. Thanks Steve

The herters luber uses saeco dies which are somewhat more expensive -
Herters has been out of business for more than 40 years -
I don't know of any ready source of parts --
In good condition -- $40-50
The herter #3 in the background is a good press -- Is the handle with it?
They also use a different shellholder, but an adapter is available for the "new" buttons -

My Herters luber uses Lyman dies.

Lathesmith here will make dies for it if it uses Saeco. If it's Lyman you are home free.

I used my Herters sizer for years and mine too uses Lyman or RCBS dies and top punches. I don't know of any that used the Saeco dies. The rest of the sizer is very similar to a Saeco and is well made. The piece that is missing on the bottom would be easy to make as it is just a flat bar about 1/4 in thick with holes for the rods. If all of the lubrisizer is there except for the bar it would be a good deal for $40.

Also missing is the knock out rod, pushes the boolit out of the die. If it has a thumbscrew to retain the die then it uses Lyman dies. Herter's made Lyman and Saeco versions of this tool at the same time. Why? I don't know.
