looking for blackout cast data and 30-06 data with noe 311-247 bullets

I just picked up a five cavity gc noe 311-247 mold. Looking for subsonic blackout data and 30-06 supersonic loads.

Forgot to mention. After lube and check they are weighing out at 243. Sizing them at 311

Just did some measurements for oal. First of all both rifles are h&r handi rifles. After measuring both chambers with both bullets touching rifling the blackout measures 2.185 Max oal and the 30-06 measures. 3.310 Max oal.

I've had good luck with 35 gn H4895 + a puff of cotton ball in the '06. Dunno what I get speed wise though. I aim for accuracy over a certain speed.

Thanks for the info. I just got done casting about 600 of them this morning. That will give me a good start feeding two guns. Next on my list is a chronograph. Hopefully I can get them up to about 2000-2200 with good accuracy and no leading issues. Definately wanna keep them subsonic for the blackout single shot.

Just out of curiosity what is cotton ball for?

My blackout load I was shooting was 10 grains of lilgun with a 220 hornady round nose with great accuracy at 100 yards. My question is. With 22 grains of more bullet how much should I back off to start with lilgun powder?

Hello.
I am using that boolit in my blackout pistol. With 5.5 grains red dot I am subsonic and hovering under 2 inches at 100 yards for 10 shot groups. Havent shot anything other than paper with it yet, but I am looking forward to it. In my 30-06, I was using unique but I dont remember the charge. My -06 is made on an intermediate length mauser action so it doesn't fit in my magazine and I abandoned it.
If you are looking for 2000 to 2200 fps, you will definately need a gas check.

The cotton ball (I use about 0.5 gn) is used as a filler. 35 gn of H4895 fill only 1/3 of the '06 case. It keeps the powder against the primer and help with consist ant ignition.

Jason, try 9.3gr of Lil'Gun with 2.10" COAL on the NOE 311247. Should run a little over 1000fps. Report back what you find, please.

In 30-06 I shoot this boolit with 35gr of H4895 and have measured them at 1,950fps. I do not use filler with this load and it is very accurate.
