Taurus 44

Hey guys been away for awhile, just wanted to know what you thought about the Taurus 44 SS6 i got one on order from Buds. I have heard alot of good and alot of bad just thought i could get your 2 cents worth.

Mine is a 441, blued, with a 3" barrel. Shoots cast fine, but has rather large throats (.432").

I keep pressures way down, those chamber walls are scary thin.

I also have a 441, great gun, 20 years old, somewhere in the neighborhood of 15,000 rounds thru it. Bought a Tracker Model 425SS4 last summer, 41 Magnum, great gun, about 3000 rounds thru it so far and it gets better every use. Bought a Tracker, blue, 44 Magnum last week, haven't had it out yet. I bought it because of the great and total satisfaction I have enjoyed with my other Taurus revolvers. I also have an 85B2 and a 327B2. All the Taurus revolvers are serving me very well. I always look for Colt first but the Taurus family is first after Colt.

I love Taurus guns in all their iterations and I carry one daily. Well built, plenty accurate, reliable, and most of them are pretty good looking in my opinion. I have never tried the model you have ordered but I think you made a great choice.
