Greetings
Well there it is. All together and completly functional. Last step was the forearm end cap which was finished yesterday. Had to use a standard large caliber cap and work it down to a heavy barrel configuration. It took a few hours but was well worth the time I got to spend with a shooting friend who is also a well accomplished machinest.
In all it was a fun project in which I learned alot about 1873 parts interchangability.
I added a 1876 repro 28 " caliber 50-95 to fill up space. They stand side by side in the "bunker" and will go out together for one last range trip hopefully Friday. Also going is a 1892 44-40 from 1907 and the 336 caliber 414 Supermag. Mike in ILL
