I have a 380 for a carry gun and would like to use SWC type boolets but haven't found one that will function. Anyone have a solution?

Might one of the 9mm truncated cone bullets work?

What sort of .380? I've seen some lately that wouldn't feed factory RN FMJ stuff reliably.

my Walther (well....my Daughters now) will feed just about anything I can stuff into the clip. The one thing with SWC's in an autoloader is correct length. sometimes it takes some playing around before you get them to feed reliably 100% of the time

It functions good with factory but slugs at .358 so factory gives about 6" at 15yds. The lee 356-115-2R sized to .358 with 2.4gr RedDot functions good and gives about 2.5" at 15yds. I tried the Lyman 356406 TC but it jams.

In an autoloader I'll pick reliable functioning over "bullet effectiveness" every time.

The LEE 358-105-SWC does fine in several 380 acps i've tried them in.

thats the answer! if it will run in your gun ill about gurantee that it will be accurate.

I have used round nose in mine with no problems. I use the H&G S55 95 grain. Never a problem feeding.
