If you don't have and are thinking about it don't waste your time and money.

My children bought me a copy for Christmas and it finally arrived.
145 pages of introduction by Sam Fadala, 260 pages of flintlock and cap and ball.
9 pages of BPCR edited by Mike (duke) Venturino and 112 pages of advertisements for MR Fadala and MR Venturino.
What a waste.
The kids bought it as they know I like to shoot my BPCR's and thought it might help.
If it hadn't been a gift I would send it back with a letter telling Lyman what I thought of their false advertisement.

OK Rant Off.

...just took a look through the 4th edition & didn't see all the ads. What version do you have?

I threw away a new lyman black powder hand book several years ago after I read that you had to keep the cloth direction turned the same way every time on your patch. If they are no smarter than that, then I don't need to read the book.

Best wishes,

Joe
