Recently got a $25 Home Depot gift certificate. I can't really think of anything I need for the house right now so I thought I might spend it for reloading stuff. I can think of Mineral Spirits, JPW and fine grit sand paper, any other suggestions you guys have? I have enough solder for the lead I have in hand or en route.
Thanks and Happy New Year to all
Bill

I'd suggest but with the ones you already have, your $25 is gone.:)

Get a gallon of the Kleen Strip Oderless mineral spirits (http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-202511753/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=oderless+mineral+spirits&storeId=10051#.UORkLG88B8E). I don't know if the plastic jug version (http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-100677231/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=oderless+mineral+spirits&storeId=10051#.UORlrW88B8E) is the same, but I have the metal can version and am very glad I bought it. Works great for 45/45/10 and it doesn't stink. You can also use it for cleaning all sorts of stuff without the chemical odor that is present in plain paint thinner. Goof Off is at the other end of the spectrum. It works great, but really stinks. Someone in our family once left an ink pen in their pocket and the mess went through the dryer. I used Goof Off to clean the walls and it worked great, but my head was spinning the rest of the morning even though I had a big fan blowing air around to get fresh air into the dryer.

not on the reloading side of things but if you don't have a good flash light for all the things that need seeing in the dark , the Mag Lite LED is worth the few bucks extra just in what it saves in batteries the first year , and it is very brite

the most used tool in my house is the flash light , i got to be able to see it before i can do anything else.

My opinion, for what it's worth. The items you mentioned like mineral spirits, jpw or sand paper, are small dollar items that I can justify buying when I need them. A $25 gift card, although it's not very much these days, will put you $25 closer to a more expensive item that might be harder to justify buying. Here are some examples;

A cordless drill that can be clamped to your workbench, works great to trim brass when used with the Lee case length gages. $4.97 after gift card.

A small shop vac that fits under your loading bench, also converts into a blower. Also just $4.97 after gift card.

How about some pegboard for the wall behind your loading bench. Here are some pretty cool plastic 16"x16" panels that are $5.69 each. Three of them would give you an area that's 16"x48". Then just buy an assortment pack of hardware for $19.99, for a total of $37.06 or just $12.06 after gift card.
