lyman universal powder thru expander die

I have one with all the different expander bell inserts. Why do they not make interchangable inserts like the M die inserts?
It would be the perfect tool then! if not can we make them?

I think if you had a lathe, you could make the expander plug to whatever dimensions you wanted.

I have most of a set of Lyman's Multi-expand Powder Charging die that came in a big box from an estate sale. I haven't actually used it yet; but I also wondered why they didn't use the M-die specs for the expander.
