Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, I am not lucky enough to buy some reasonably priced 38 spl and actually get outrageously priced 357. As long as no one gets hurt or destroys guns, I would say they are lucky.

Q: How do I fit .357 ammunition into a cylinder bored for .38 special?
A: Push harder I guess.

OTOH if they mean it was "hot loaded" they should have said it was hot loaded.

Q: If the ammo companies can't get the ammo right and then can't get the recall notice right, what's a poor consumer to do?
A: Go hand load some more cast bullets!

That is why I trust what I load over what's in a box and mass produced. The machines crank the parts out with good consistency, but only after a PERSON has set them up. That person may be going through a bad relationship, just lost someone, smoked crack on a lunch break, or just plain have a bad day and QC inspectors may miss something. Happens all the time (hopefully not the crack smoking tho) and some of it gets passed onto the consumer.

HE said buy reasonable priced ammunition....

they would have had to have been notified of this by a third party.

now did someone get 38 special ammo overloaded and ruin a revolver?
or did some tard shove a 357 round in grandma's 38.
if the former i'd think the manufacturer of the gun would have to warranty it.

Thanks for the heads up.One more reminder why I quit buying Remington center fire ammo over 25 years ago.Of course I eventually gave up on their rim fire as well.It is SAD to see what this once American Icon has become.

No problems here I have not bought factory 38 or 357 for so long I was doubting they even make it anymore, I have shot thousands of rounds the over last 40 years and I honestly don't think there was a factory round in the bunch! Who in their right mind would pay the unbelievably ridiculous price of factory ammo these days?
