Does anyone have a favorite load on the 7.62x39? I just loaded a bunch with a cci lrp, 20 gr. of 4198 and a 122 gr corelokt j-word. Recoil is light and cycle is smooth, shoots decent. For my next performance I want to cast for this round. Looking for suggestions and insight. Thanks

Slug your barrels before you order a mold. My Russian, Romy, and Bulgy barrels are .314 and one US made is .312, not going to work with the typical .311-312 bullet molds. Yours may be different. Some have reported success at beagleing the Lee molds, using some high temp tape between the mold halves to enlarge the bullet. It may be something I try, but I have got in on a group buy for a 130 grain .316 mold that I think will do great. Also considering buying an NOE mold, they have several that appear similar to the Lee design.
