I have been gone for a while, tooled up, and got some lead melted and ready to go, like 150lbs. of 1 pound lyman bars. Went to Ranch Dog web and no molds? What up? Wanted 45-70 460-350fp.

Haff202, I have that mold and NO it is not for sale. It throws boolits that will give me 1 inch groups at 100 yards in my LTD-V Marlin 1895. I have a custom mold also for that 45/70, but the groups with that bullet run around 1-1/4 to 1-1/5 inch at best. I wished I had bought more RD molds before he called it quits.
Try the want adds here and see if someone may have one that they are willing to part with.

See if NOE has any of the RD 460 350 available. There was a rerun but I don't know the status of it right now. I have both the NOE and the original, both work quote well.

I am glad that I bought the RD molds that I have. Might once in awhile find one or two on e-bay.

I am sure you could get Accurate Molds to cut one. Drawings have been posted. Top notch moulds and service at Accurate.

I don't think he will. It was not his full time job and some activities and health reminded him it was a lot of hassle to do. I was hoping someone would buy his sight and mold drawings. It would be a nice part time business for someone.

You might contact Lee about Ranch Dog's molds. He said on his forum that if enough call and ask Lee might produce some as they are talking about adding some of the others already.

I did that. Richard Lee replied that if things ever slowed down they might consier it.
