Hey All,
As I am new to casting, and totally uninformed I need to know. Are there any instruction books that give the basics on casting. I have seen so much info on this site my head is spinning. I don't want to waste lead nor injure myself or anyone else.
Any help would be appreciated. I would guess there are many out there, however there may be something out there that someone prefers for beginners.

THANKS
WARREN

This is the pdf version and the entire book is free. I highly recommend downloading and printing it out.

The lyman casting handbook is pretty good. Yes there is alot to learn, but don't get overwhelmed with it.
What caliber/s are you casting for?
Target or hunting?

Read the books, then re-read them again, and then find an experianced caster who will be willing to have you sit thru a couple of casting/reloading sessions.
