I bought J-words this morning:(.

A fellow in our gun club had passed away months ago, one of the LGS put all the guns on consignment, but didn't want to pay more than $3K for all the reloading stuff. I thought about it, but didn't have the probably $4K it would have taken. Lots of bullets, boolits, and powder.

Saw an ad in the paper for loading stuff and went over to see it. Turns out , the guy that ended up with it, I know well. He has been selling it off, bit by bit.

He had a bunch of 9mm, 44 (200gr boolits .430") and 380 stuff left.

He had a case of Montanna Gold bullets to sell, 124g rn 9mm, came out to about $5 a box. Couldn't pass it up at that price. Won't have to cast 9mm for awhile though.

Felt guilty buying them, but my Scottish blood won out.

I sin regularly. I did recently get a rifle mould for my old M48 in 8X57. The metal buttplate makes me cringe like a girley man after 30 or so full power loads.

Speaking of 8X57 that Remington 700 you set me up with has dropped a large amount of critters out here. It is still my go to. It doesn't look as good as it did when I got it, but man the memories it has already created...

Heck I'd have bought those 9mm bullets too. Great price. My 9mms are used for CCW and home defense. They get fed a lot j-bullets.

You know you could let us know what else he has, and maybe some more would give in to the temptation. lol Just so you wouldn't feel so lonely in sinning you know. lol

Main thing he has left is 100gr bullets for 380's and a bunch of 200gr FP boolits, sized .430". They are packed in sfrb's and he probably has 15-20 boxes of them. Some J-word 44's too. Bet the 100gr 380 bullets would be a bit cheaper, maybe $4/box. Let me know, I can check on them for you.

You have to look at the positive in this. Just think of all the copper you'll be able to scrap once you shoot them all up and re melt them. :)
