Thanks for the nice compliment. I created that webpage as a reference to help me identify molds I see listed on eBay, etc. I welcome any photos and mold info not listed so I can make the page even more comprehensive and useful.

An amazing resource there, I refer to it frequently. You did us all a favor, similar to why almost 5 years back I started CB, as a resource to myself but in the process helped a few other folks along the way.

I welcome you to this board and hope you find it as helpful as I find your research and hard work.

. . . so I can make the page even more comprehensive and useful.
Another 'thank you' for this reference/resource.
Just wondering if it would be possible to tweak it into a printer friendly format. It would be nice to be able to print hard copies of pages we're interested in to write notes on .

It prints out for me pretty much as it appears on the screen if I set the printer to "landscape." Maybe, however, that isn't what you mean.

BTW guys, in case you didn't know. Wiljen has some FREE software called Reloader's Reference that is easily downloaded and contains among other things a reference section that has a mold look-up that also includes Lee, NEI, RCBS, and SAECO as well as Lyman. It is super handy for loading and the reference section is astounding with the info it has.

I have found it extremely useful.

Someone is trying to sell a printed out copy of this on evilbay...why didn't I think of that! Just 9.99!

Gee and to think nobody asked if they could copy the chart directly from the PDF on castpics. I at least did get permission to reproduce it from old buffalo for CP.

I actually downloaded a copy to my computer and saved it as a "Word" document. Every once in a while I go back to them to see if there are any additions.

They are a great resource and I truly appreciate what they do for us all.

Just curious why the mold I have with 582515 on it isn't listed? Any Idea's It is a single and looks like a 454424 a HP with 3 bands and the bottom is flat. T43950]he handle isn't a lyman nor a lee. Just curious if anyone might know something about it.

That looks like a shiloh mold from the handles. And based on the hollowbase design, I'm fairly certain it is not an Ideal/Lyman mold.

Also have a "mystery". Single cav round chamber (like small buckshot) with 360 and 49C stamped on it. Anyone know what size/weight it is? Can not find it on that chart or on their site.
ETA--it is a Lyman

Great chart. I added the top punch when I was first getting into casting about 10 or so years ago. I put it in an excel spreadsheet and did a boat load of copy/paste of pictures of the molds and then added the top punch. I found a similar chart in my wonderings around the internet, it looks like it came from three-peaks. Here is an example of what I did. OOOPPS Where it shows "bitmap" there should be a picture of the bullet, but for some reason it didn't copy from my Excel chart and I don't know why. (computers) There are probably errors but I spent quite a bit of time to get it as accurate as possible and has been a reference for me. Maybe you can show me how to copy the bullet pictures to here.

Some of them are discontinued, does anyone know if drawings exist anywhere for lyman molds? I am interested in having accurate molds make some that have been discontinued.

NOE Bullet Moulds makes several Lyman clones, scattered in among their other molds; you may want to check their website. The site has detailed drawings for each mold they manufacture. I have quite a few of their molds, Lyman clones as well as the products of others' designs, and I highly recommend them. Accurate makes a good product, as well, so the best of luck in finding what you are looking for!

I fully expect other mold manufacturers have Lyman clones in their product line, so my thought is to keep on looking, checking, and asking the occasional question.

Harper, what Ideal mold caliber you want Accurate to make. Tom has cloned several for me. They are in inventory listed as “clone of Ideal xyz”

Many of y'all know this stuff by heart......but for us newbies, this type of info is priceless. I was able to print out the list before hitting the wrong button and closing the thread before I had "subscribed" :killingpc (which is the only way I know to reliably find topics later that I have not commented in).
After searching for it for several hours I found it again and now have it, and this one:

http://ps-2.kev009.com/ohlandl/Cast_Bullet/Ideal-Lyman_Molds/Ideal-Lyman_Mold_Descriptions.html

both printed, to go in a binder, saved in my computer files and saved on a thumb drive......
Note, having a "recently viewed" feature would have made it much simpler.......just sayin. :bigsmyl2:

What I want to find is a cross-reference that will tell me which nose punches I need for my Lyman lube-sizer to fit bullets from other mould makers - especially Lee.
