I fellow offered an old Pro-20 to me for free. "I don't fool with that stuff any more an it does leak a lot." It had a little mystery lead in it and big stalactite of lead fro spout to floor. I heated it up and cleaned the pot and fiddled with the spout, but it did not just leak, it poured and the fit of the valve rod in the valve was really odd. So, I ordered a new valve and valve rod and bolt. The same outcome with the spanky new parts! Then my mind recalled the view of the bottom of the pot. It was bent down some. The rod could not align correctly with the spout. So I ordered a new pot. Perfection! The old spout and rod were probably good, I just made the wrong diagnosis.

The leak is just another good Lee idea, its a "failsafe" design so that the pot won't overflow.

I don't know about the 20# pot, but they redesigned the 10 pot. I ordered a new one and found that it would work in the old one, but the valve rod and spout were different.
