Just to prove what vigilance and safety can overcome.
At work we have daily safety meetings, every one on my crew at some time has to have what we call a "safety contact"

Today on here, is mine, dont be distracted when working with tools that can mame, or dismember.
I was in lala land, cutting 300 blk out brass down and felt the blade "burn" my finger.

I'm lucky, just a little bit of angle and it could of been running into the emergency room for stitches or reattachement.

Keep a vigilance, or wear safety gloves for extra precaution.. or your finger could look like mine or worse.....

It looks alot worse than what the pic shows, it's still bleeding 30 min later...1 paper towel soaked already

If you take blood thinners it's worse. I nicked the back of my hand, put a band-aid on it and went out to dinner. Finished eating and had 2 cloth napkins soaked. Server was starting to turn green. Co-workers wouldn't let me near an x-acto knife.

Switch to a vibratory cutter! Will cut the brass but NOT meat.

For example:

http://www.homedepot.com/buy/dremel-120-volt-multi-max-oscillating-kit-with-free-blades-discontinued-6300-05.html

or

http://www.sears.com/tools-corded-handheld-power-tools-oscillating-multi-tools/s-1214869209

Safe, I had to use one of those circular saws in a dremel once and when I found this, it was a MAJOR breakthru
in safety.

I had one explode on me while I was repairing the deck on a lawnmower.. looked like I had been blasted by a scattergun..

Bill what the one from Home depot? The link you sent wont come up. I think this morning I already burned up my Harbor Freight saw with only 200 pcs cut so far.
