Did I mention this was with two large bay doors open, one at either end of the shop. This is east central Florida by the way. Bout a mile from the ocean.

Humidity today was 78%. My leather welding helmet band was wet without me wearing it. My concrete walls are wet in the mornings.

We had -3 this morning and got to about 25 today.
Now the wind is starting to blow and its about 40*. As long as it dont start shaking the house tonight I'll sleep OK.
The hardest I've clocked since I got my wind gauge (and we had a fire call) was 135mph, but sometimes it blows pretty hard.
Its hard to sleep sometimes when it gets over 100mph. Temps usually aint too bad, but we get wind.
Got to love Wyo.

First cool snap of the season started yesterday, low of 31F, high about 53F. Looks to be back in the high 70s, low 80s this weekend. Been a warmer than average fall for S Texas.

The weather has turned, and been beautiful here this week. We could even go down and walk on the swimming hole in a t shirt, but is suppose to be back down to - 30 this weekend.

Its amazing how single digits feel like a heat wave when you get use to it being in the -'s for a few weeks

This morning 18 degrees and only 5 yesterday, but hey this is our first taste of winter so far.

I got a kick out of the Craftsman sign since they are now getting sued over the fact that their American Made tools are really from China???

Is that different from -20F?

It sure is, about -5F.

I woke to 3" of snow 33F this morning. The weather channel says 55F today. Its been 25/55 for a month now. Too cold for hip boots in the morning, too hot for the chest waders when I pick up the decoys. Its our 1st ground snow in probably 2 yrs to stay after sunrise.

We got knee deep snow yesterday and last night, but it is pretty warm. My sons electricity went out last night, which meant no heat. lol
With the brand new baby they decided to come to town and stay with us, but couldn't get out of the driveway. lol He had taken my old freight sled to his house to use on the trapline, so he pulled his rig to the road with it, but the road was too drifted up to keep going, so had to turn back and just bundle up for the night. lol

His electricity came back on about one this morning, so the electric company guys were out working in some miserable conditions. lol
