Finally got to try this boolit from the recent group buy
of the 7mm 150grain hunter mold. WW metal dropped
at .287 on the bands, sized to .285, lubed with blue angel,
and gas check with blammers 7mm Gator checks.
Rifle is a custom built 280 Remington on a FN Mauser 98 action,
topped with a Kahles 3-9. My all time favorite hunting rifle.
I think it will get along just fine with cast boolits!

First load was 23 grains of 5744, Fed 210, .310 OAL
in once fired un-sized Winchester nickel brass.
I'm pretty happy for a starting point!

Second load was the same except for 13 grains of Unique, slightly bettering the first.

Groups look promising, any velocity data?

Very nice. Any chance of getting a nose diameter? I am picking up a 7x57 next week and am considering this mold. Thanks.

the bore rider drops exactly as the drawing stated- .277 and fits mine perfectly.
Its too small for my cheapo Handi rifle 7mm-08 though, it rattles out the barrel :(

Thank you sir. Once I get my hands on it the first thing I am going to do is to slug and do chamber cast, then to see which boolit will fit the best. Your information will help a lot.
