Considering picking up a BFR 500 JRH and am wondering if this bullet will fit or will coal be too long for the cylinder.

Unless you have 18" wrists, I think you should worry more about recoil than COAL.

I would guess the nose length is too long for the Magnum Research cylinder.

WHY for gosh sakes? It is even beyond the twist rate of the BFR at 1 in 15". NOT STABLE!
Like the real stupid 700 gr in the .500 S&W.
Recoil is not bad at all with heavier boolits because you need to load down and can't reach the spin rate for stability.
Somewhere down range you will get side ways holes and they will not track straight in a large animal.
The best for the JRH is around 440 gr.
Super heavy boolits is like super short barrels in huge calibers, senseless.
