Oh Just wait......
Just wait until you can't stop until you are out of lead, or something breaks.
Or worse your wearing a diaper like that NASA chick and losing wait and you don't even care.....

What you have there is a gate way drug my friend.

But 1st yo must admit you have a problem and then seek help on your own.

Don't worry the denial you are in right now is common and normal.

Please seek hep before you are consumed!

That and a good .452 255gr SWC and 300gr or so DHP

Yep, started already.

Nice boolits. May I suggest a soft landing pad like a folded up towel or a towel laid out on an old chair cushion. Less dents and dings.

What about a silicone pad, so fire is less of a worry?

Lookin good Boosted98. Now that your a daddy for the first time are ya going to pass out cigars?

Here's a tip for ya, don't let that fan blow accross the surface of the melt in the pot, the air flow will radically speed up oxidation. I use a small fan on some molds but I make sure it only blows on the mold where I open & dump it, never accross the top of the pot.

An old folded up towel to dump boolits on isn't a fire risk, I've been using the same one for years and not a burn mark on it.

hehe . . . Before you know it you'll be wondering how you get along with only these 40-50 molds.

Towel won't present a fire hazard man, been using one for years and about once a year I get a new one and throw out the old.

LOL! You're screwed now! Those molds multiply like crazy!

GREAT choice on the pro melt pot, I know they're expensive but you will never be sorry and you shouldn't even need the thermometer as the temp dial actually work! Congrats!

Man, nice setup. Good lookin' boolits, too......

Welcome to the forum! Lots of good folks here, and a few cantankerous ones as well (ha-ha)! Lots of comedians also, but a great deal of good info. I would suggest you NOT look at the swap n sell part of the forum lest you start spending all your "play money" and then some on molds that you MUST have. Firsthand experience here.

nice, my favorie boolit too.
the 452664.
if you pour a little more sprue you can get one big one, and hold a little more heat in the sprue plate.
it makes it easier to pick them up.

Make sure your towel or cloth is damp. Then no burn marks, no fire.
You guys are right tho' 'bout the molds. I started with one for 38 special two months ago, now I have 6!!!! Got to get a bigger pot though.

Great lookin boolits!!!

I don't keep my towel wet and it has no burn marks on it.

Yeah, molds. I got the dog fixed and that worked, no more dogs. Should have gotten that first mold fixed cause now there's over 70 of them.

Ditto..

AND, It must be expendable. It will last a lifetime if you don't burn it up but your wife will boil you in your melting pot if you use one of her good towels
