I don't think I will need anymore 38 spl brass after my latest acquisition, in fact you might say I have 38 spl brass up the Wazoolee. That's a river that is not as big as the Missiissippi but bigger that the Orinoco. I haven't actually weighed it but in lifting it feels like 45 to 50 pounds.

Nice. Give it the Dawn/lemon juice/hot water bath and you are good to go. I don't think you'll need any for a while.....

Since I am probably the ONLY CERTIFIED person here I feel it is my responsibility to destroy ALL of that hazardous material.

If you ship it to me IMMEDIATELY I will dispose of it properly and not notify the EPA of the criminal that I got it from.:bigsmyl2:

I have a 40mm grenade box full of 38 spl brass. Buddy used to teach CCW and I'd sweep it up and I'd get the 38 and he would get the 40 and 45 brass. Didn't take long to fill the can up. Frank

I know the feeling. A while back I got on the idea I didn't have enough 30-06 and 357 mag brass. A couple purchases later and I dont have a river, but a large creek anyhow. Ya just cant have enough of the good stuff.
Great score!

Since I shoot machine guns I buy brass - lots of it - usually in lots of 5000. I was lucky in that I loaded up with brass 10-15 years ago (like buying 10,000 9mm for $100 shipped) and I happened to stumble across a lot of 38 Special.....5000 of them. I don't remember what I paid for them, but it wasn't much. So now I have a 5 gallon bucket+ of 38's....more than I will ever use in a lifetime.
But cast up a bunch of H&G 51's and size and lube and load 38's all day long. Shoot them in an Interarms Rossi 92, 6" S&W 28 and a 3" S&W Square Butt Model 36.
Shoot all day for almost no money.....that's MY kind of shooting.
Plus the brass or the loaded rounds will make great barter material if/when things get really bad.

Yah, but now you have to buy primers and powder for all that brass.[smilie=w:

I do appriciate all the offers to dispose of all this hazardous material. I am deeply touched. I do however have three sixguns that feed on this very material, two 357s and one 38spl.

The stuff seems to last forever too. In twenty years I doubt I've culled a dozen, unlike the .45 Colt which has me culling a couple every hundred I shoot...Ray
