Trouble with smilies ???????

Have made a couple of posts through the afternoon and tried to attach a smilie with no luck.
Could this be me or ???????????????????????????

How are you trying to attach the smilies?

Same way I used to. Go to advanced, write what wanted. Skip a couple of lines, click on more ( usually), click on smilie.
Generally the smilie will show up in the advanced box as a code but shows correct when transmitted.
Now going advanced shows as highlighted, click on smilie ( more ) and when the smilie is selected, I lose the highlighting and the smilie does not go over ??
Gotta be on this end but how ????

Just also noticed. Is "homepage" spelled Hompage or homepage ???? Note selection bar at top of page !!!!!!

If you will look at the bar above the quick reply dialog box, there is a happy face icon. Try adding a smilie from that list, and report back here.
