should it have any lube left on it?

Does it? Should it? Does it matter?

Yes, it matters. If there is any left and it is even all around---GOOD. If there is none left because it spun off when it left the muzzle---GOOD. If there are chunks left here and there---BAD, might as well cast with air holes in the boolit. Take one wheel weight off your tire and tell me if it runs smooth!

You have any son-in-laws? brother-in-laws ?
They could stand down range and catch them.
I try to get mine to stand down by the target and point out the holes as they appear. So far my son-in-laws have had very busy carreers, but the treat my daughters very well.

G'day Blammer,
I make and use Flexi lube and I can tell you that when shooting ICORE matches, my targets at 7, 10 and 25 metres have traces of lube on them. Seems to me that as long as it stays on the bullet until it has left the gun then no probs, it is doing what it is supposed to do.:drinks:
