It's a fun show.
Several guys I know and I get together every two weeks or so and talk guns and drink beer and eat pizza and watch.
It must be a guy thing.
Too much gore for my taste, but it's always fun to get together with the guys.

yea, they ought to go seek and destroy, that way it'd stop them from being "surprised" all the time...

About 12 + years ago a cousin of my wife moved from NYC and stayed with us a couple months ( until she kicked his *** out .. for a myriad of reasons but mainy due to his lazy attitude ). Well he was an ameture comic book junky and he had at the time a wad of "the walking dead" comic books...if you could call them comic books.
Needless to say I perused them and found it a rather interesting morbid tale. The AMC series so far has not done the original story much justice. In fact quite the opposite.
The typical hollyweird melodramatic storyline changes are too painfully obvious and so dang predictable ...it does tarnish the "finished" product.

Love it!

I think it surpases all the typical Zombie carp because the writing is actually pretty good.

It is one of the few shows I watch. It will be interesting to see if The Walking Dead helps or hurts next year's release of World War Z.

WWZ was a lousy book. Written in a very ameture manner with really bad 'technical' assumptions.

Yeah, I did a "The Walking Dead" marathon over the weekend to get caught up. Found out that you can't watch new episodes on-line..............

It's one of the few shows I actually look forward to watching every week. Even have the DVR set to record it in case I'm out when it comes on.
