As you all know today is Veterans Day and as such Applebees Restaurant's are showing their appreciation to Vet's, AD and retired by giving them their choice of (I think it was) 7 entrees. My wife and I went over to the one in Rolla MO, and it was very nice. The Boy Scouts were there welcoming the Vets and thanking them for their service, the DAV were there (info booth) and the Applebees staff were out in force. I had a hamburger (delicious, and too big for me to finish) and my wife had a salad (I don't recall what kind). They went all out to thank us the other vets there (and it was packed). It was very nice and I wanted to let others know about it and to thank them for it.

Also, to all the vets out there:Thanks

My wife, Vell and I went to Applebee's and took advantage of their generous offer. As has been said by others, the place was packed, the staff was very cordial and greeted all with the same enthusiasm.

My wife and I just returned from Olive Garden--I had the Chicken parmesian and she soup & salad. The meal was very good and the service was outstanding. Nice place to eat and I'll be going back before Veteran's Day next year. Met a WWII Marine vet while I was there and enjoyed talking to him.

Thanks to all the vets out there for their service. Oooh Rahh. USMC. Semper Fi. BC

Way too late for this topic!! Anyway, there is a chain resturant where I am currently located called "Max & Erma's" and they had a deal going on 11 Nov. as well. Thought it was a good deal. The Wife and I hardly had to wait for a table, whilst we drove out we went by an Applebees and it looked like they were packed, which is a good thing.
