Gas check question?

Do you need a gas check bullet mold to use gas checks? My Lyman 4500 installs the GC as I understand. Please help the newby.:confused:

yup, gotta have a gas checked boolit mold

YES! The base of the boolit is reduced in diameter to accept the gas check. You don't HAVE to use checks on these boolits ,especially at slower speeds and lower pressures.
